What Reddit stock sentiment measures
Sentiment attempts to describe whether the language around a ticker appears more positive, negative, or neutral. It describes the text being discussed; it does not establish what the stock will do next.
Why volume and direction belong together
A positive score based on a handful of comments means something different from a mixed conversation across many communities. Ropollo presents sentiment beside four-hour mentions, daily activity change, and subreddit spread.
Bearish discussion can still be a strong attention signal
The production activity score uses the magnitude of sentiment conviction. A strongly bearish reaction can therefore contribute to high attention intensity. Marketing labels remain neutral and never translate activity into Buy or Sell.
